Winter Landscapes brings us images of bleak winter spaces where we are imaginatively transported there shivering as we feel the cold. In doing so we are entering that world of overwhelming infinity familiar in the work of Friedrich and Turner.

Exhibiting works of Sophie Benson, Paul Gallagher, Brita Granström, Ørnulf Opdahl and Dale Atkinson we see that what unites these artists is their experiential stance. They use their eyes and their senses to enable us to share the same perception of landscape as themselves.
